Like your other favorite bands, we also have a portable model of our sound in compact disc form. We put this beast out on our own - there are only a few hundred copies available. If you are hoping to get one in your hands - drop us a line, we can work something out. Come see us play this fall/winter as we are hoping to get out and rock the album/non album tracks. Some people might be interested in how all of this happened. Others not so much so; but here it is regardless... Back in the summer of 05, we recorded 10 or 11 tracks with Shane Hochstetler. What you hear on the record are mostly first takes - live in the studio. We whipped through the songs in one day and tracked the guitar wall/dubs the next. We had to hustle - our drummer and friend Chris Bongers was about to move to Spain (again) so we had to make it happen. Next, we took the mastered instrumental tracks and recorded vocals at home - hoping that slapping them back onto the tracks at Shane's studio would work out okay. It did - this record sounds huge, live, and electric. Later, Shane mastered the disc himself for a full on aural 'cinder block drop' assault. In the meantime, we recruited Kevin Demars to play drums, and Chris Chuzles to sing in the band as well (you can hear him singing parts on five of the album tracks). It didn't feel right to put this record out until now due to the changing lineup and the lack of consistency. Nevertheless, it is done - and we are feeling good about the way it turned out. Rob Nero worked dilligently on the photography and layout of the record. You might recall his excellent work on the TemperTemper record. Kudos Rob. Frames on a beach. In the near future, we will be throwing a listening party at our rehearsal space at the Milwaukee Fortress. You are all invited and we'll keep you posted.
